It may feel like lab-grown diamonds have taken the world by storm, but according to BFCM Particl data and my own ShopMy data, real diamonds are still the girlies' favorite (especially Ring Concierge!). This Week in Pop Culture: Keeping up with Pop Culture this week was wild. From launches like Unwell Hydration, Extra Dirty the Podcast, Skims x North Face, Matilda Djerf x Rhode, HSR x Nudestix, to Dairy Boy evolving into the next Ralph Lauren—there was no shortage of buzz.

On a personal note, launching my collaboration with Nudestix brought me back to my operator days and gave me a new level of empathy for being a brand operator. Cutting through the noise is HARD, and IMO no one did it better than Pia Mance and Heaven Mayhem over BFCM (here) and PureSport, a supplement company out of the UK that ran an incredible influencer campaign I LOVED (here).

Gift Giving Etiquette & The Hot Smart Rich List 2024: One thing about me—I’ve always been a little weird about gifts and I should preface, gift giving isn’t my love language but every girl loves a nice gift. I put SO much thought into what I gift others, and I’m so for the earth that giving something unplanned feels worse than not giving a gift at all. Turns out, there’s a lot of psychology to gift giving.

If you’re feeling stuck, here are my favorite gift-giving tips (plz feel free to frwd to your boyfriend/ girlfriend, significant other, parent, sibling, friend, etc.)

  • Do your research: Does she have a locker? Here’s mine for some inspo in case you’re stuck or don’t be afraid to ask her friends for ideas!

  • Play on an inside joke: The first gift I gave Lucky #3 was a custom-engraved Hermès passport holder. It was sentimental and funny because we’d traveled so much together, and he’d watched me get rejected at over five Hermès stores trying (and failing) to score a mini Kelly with gold hardware.

  • Give an experience: Always a win when it’s something you can do together.

  • Personalization: Our ego drives so many of our choices—who wouldn’t love seeing their name on something cute and chic?

  • Talk about it: Just like having great sex, gift giving is something you shouldn’t be afraid to talk about! Sharing ideas avoids misses and makes it more meaningful.

  • Hot Smart Rich List for 2024: Do you know her favorite curator or creator? We won’t pass up an opportunity to share our favorites, so anything on a list from her favorite creator is likely a win.

This Week’s Life Update: 95% crazy good, 5% just plain batsh*t crazy. From my first American Thanksgiving to visiting Grandma in Winnipeg, launching my first collaboration with Nudestix, navigating the TikTok ban drama, dealing with family health stuff, and trialing new HSR freelancers—all while riding the emotional rollercoaster of my luteal phase—it’s been a WEEK.

Let’s just say, you know it’s your person when they get your best but can also handle you at your worst. Lucky Number 3 deserves a medal for putting up with the last four days of peak crazy. 🏆

I loved being on TikTok live on Friday for my first time with over 1,000 of my HSR angels that cycled in and out throughout it!! It was truly one of the highlights of my year.
